A Little About Me...
My name is Chris Trowbridge. I am a disc jockey, real estate student, and I work part time at Starbucks. Most of my free time is devoted to my friends and to the many projects I surround myself with.
I am very interested in politics and economics, and I spend a lot of time reading news. A few of my favorite sources are The New York Times, The Huffington Post, MSNBC, and the Northern California Newspapers. Hopefully soon, I will be able to start a norcal political forum like back in high school... only better and more grown up. lol
Disc Jockey...
if you're looking for my work site or to book me for your event, you're at the wrong page! check out dj.chrastopha.comI have been a DJ for around five years. I started in high school with a friend and have been doing it ever since. I do a lot of seasonal and one-time contracts with schools like Shasta Lake School, Milville School, Buckeye Elementary, Cow Creek School, Central Valley High School, Parsons Elementary, and Enterprise High School. I've done weddings at Shasta Dam, Win River Casino, Tail of the Wale, and even one at the Senior Nutrition Center in Redding! lol. I've done parties ranging from birthdays at rented dance halls to entire golf courses. I'm definitely best equipped for large venues, but I'm always willing to squeeze into tighter areas and turn the volume down. lol
Coffee
I've worked at Starbucks for around eight months. I have been informed I am not allowed to comment. lol
My Music...
Lately I've been listening to a lot of All Time Low, 3OH!3, Sam Sparro, and A Rocket to the Moon. Some of my favorite artists are Maynard Keenan, (Of Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer) Marilyn Manson, (Don't judge him 'till you hear what he has to say! lol) and of course I love anything rock, hip-hop, electronica, punk, or generally anything other than country.
Politics
I am registered as "Other." I consider myself an independent libertarian and a social progressive. Last year, I supported Ron Paul in the ridiculous biased primaries. After the candidates were selected, I supported John McCain until he chose Sarah Palin. In the end, I voted for Jeff Morris and Barack Obama.
